Healthcare Research, Malaysia

The Task

The client, a major pharmacuetical manufacturer, was considering introducing a new method of delivery for one of its leading anti-biotics and was interested in learning how receptive the concept would be.

The Work

Background research was conducted to establish current practices in delivering anti-biotics in the hospital and clinic sectors, and their effectiveness, leading to the development of a questionnaire. This was delivered round the target group of doctors, nurses and practitioners in Kuala Lumpur over a period of two months while at the same time conducting in-depth-interviews with select key personnel.

The Outcome

The conclusions of the research proved invaluable for the client showing them not only the perception of the product and its potential take-up but also which practitioners to target and the route to market.
